Cats vs. Dogs

One major topic that brings controversy is the never ending battle between cats and dogs and the pending question: which is better?
Let's start with cats. They can be very cuddly and cute, even when they’ve grown up from their kitten stages. They are very self-sufficient, especially outdoor cats. However, what do you do with a cat besides cuddle it? All my cat does is sleep, but that is not a bad thing either. Dogs, on the other hand, can be wild. When puppies, they are mostly always filled with lots of energy. Also, with dogs, you can train them to control themselves, whereas cats, well, I have never seen or heard of a trained cat. Dogs are more of a companion. They can be taught to walk with you, you can bring them places, play with them, and work with them to be better dogs. Even though they are a lot more work, dogs are extremely worth it, no doubt. And at the end of the day, you can cuddle with your puppy too! Cats aren’t the only cuddlers.
Between cats and dogs, people are almost always expected to choose. Yet, I have both a cat and a dog. They don’t get along at all, but I still love them both. Cats and dogs seem to be opposites, but they have a lot in common too. They are great for company, both can sense when you are down. They can also both be your best friend, and that is what is great about having a cat or a dog, or both. Whether you are a cat or dog person, either could be your best friend.
