The Great Grand Rapids Book Giveaway has conclude! It was designed to put a new book in the hands of as many students as possible in the Greater Grand Rapids area. With the help of some generous donors we were able to raise enough money to give away 325 books. The Kindergarten and 1st grade classes of Stoney Creek Elementary in Comstock Park have been chosen to receive them. The books were dropped off June 6th and handed out on June 7th, just in time for the end of the school year. Each of those students will have a new book to read over the summer, thanks to our donors! I am passionate about reading and how it can transform the lives of these children. I hope the Kindergarten and 1st graders of Stoney Creek Elementary enjoy reading these books as much as I enjoyed writing them.
